Message from the President
The tourism sector, defined as the travel industry today, is one of the key areas that creates the highest synergy in economic and social life. Carrying this strong synergy into the future, making a difference with new strategies in a changing world, and guiding the vision of our sector are our top priorities.
With this understanding, we are once again coming together at the 15th International Resort Tourism Congress, which will be held on November 19–20, 2025, to discuss the future of tourism.
This year’s theme, “Design The Difference With New Strategies,” represents an approach to tourism that is aligned with change, innovative, and sustainable. At the congress, topics of great importance to our sector, such as the trends shaping the future of tourism, sustainability policies, artificial intelligence and digital transformation, market diversification, and investment opportunities, will be addressed by esteemed speakers and experts.
As every year, our congress will once again highlight the unifying power of tourism, creating the groundwork for new ideas, partnerships, and strategies to emerge.
We would be delighted to have you, our valuable stakeholders, with us at this important gathering where the impacts of international relations and global developments on Turkish tourism will be discussed.

Dear Esteemed Tourism Stakeholders,
It is no longer enough to simply talk about the future of tourism; we have entered an era in which we must collectively decide how that future will take shape.
The dynamics of competition in global tourism are being redefined. The strength of destinations is no longer measured solely by visitor numbers, capacity, or price competitiveness. The ability to create value, build strong partnerships, embrace sustainable transformation, leverage technology, ensure accessibility, and respond to evolving travel motivations has become the defining factor of this new era.
It is precisely for this reason that, at the 16th Resort Tourism Congress, we are asking ourselves a more fundamental question: How will we define the future of tourism, and with whom will we build that future?
Our answer is reflected in this year's congress theme:
“Redefining Tourism with a Collective Vision.”
Because the future of tourism cannot be shaped by a single institution, a single market, or a single perspective. We need a collective vision that brings together the public and private sectors, destinations, tour operators, airlines, financial institutions, and the technology industry around a shared outlook for the future.
At the 16th Resort Tourism Congress, taking place on November 26, 2026, in Antalya, we will bring together distinguished national and international speakers to address the key issues shaping the future of our industry. From Türkiye's global brand strength and the transformation of source markets to destination competitiveness, the evolving roles of airlines and tour operators, financing, artificial intelligence, and sustainable transformation, we will explore the forces redefining global tourism.
We believe that Antalya should not only be recognized as one of the world's leading tourism destinations, but also serve as a global hub where the future of tourism is discussed, new ideas are generated, and meaningful partnerships are established.
For this reason, we see the Resort Tourism Congress as much more than a gathering to assess the current state of the industry. Our ambition is to establish the congress as an international platform for thought leadership, where diverse perspectives come together, shared challenges are addressed through collective solutions, and a new vision for the tourism of tomorrow is shaped collaboratively.
